Summer Nights EP is the debut extended play by D-Beat. It was released on September 24, 2013 through the record label D-Entertainment. The album contains two singles, "Heavy Waves" and "Summer". There is a total of four tracks on the album.

BackgroundEdit

D-Beat began working on the EP in April 2013. He finished recording the songs by the end of May 2013. The track listing for the EP was released on August 21, 2013, the same day the first single from the EP, "Heavy Waves", was released. The release date for the EP (September 24, 2013) was announced on September 4, 2013.

The EP contains two singles with a total of four tracks. The second single from the EP, "Summer" is the most downloaded track from the EP.

"Summer"



The lead single, "Heavy Waves" was released on August 21, 2013. The second single "Summer" was released about a week after on August 29, 2013.

Both singles were recorded in May 2013. The singles both symbolize summer.

"Heavy Waves" is the only song on the EP that has lyrical content on it (although the only lyrical content in the song is at the beginning when a computer-made voice says the name of the song). The song also begins with a sound effect of waves.
